” Color is something that fills your life with a rejuvenating joy. Without colors life is dull.” answered a boy.
“Color is something that signifies a thousand emotions.” said another.
“Color is a gift of God, we have inherited from our parents, based on which people love to judge you.”…her answer left them speechless.
Racism. Not rare. Every day, in some way or the other, we do get ridiculous comments from people on someone’s body tone, religion, caste or nationality. The point? Personally, I don’t get any.
Talking about the recent Ferguson incident, here are ten disgusting stories about racial profiling, which might leave you pondering upon a question: Is it the cover, or the content of the book, which should decide our judgement about it?

The attack stirred up some real debates and showed the ugly face of racial discrimination.
- The Jena six attack (July, 2007)
Another famous racial profiling incident which pulled down the curtains from the appalling reality of the black vs white conflict was the Jena six attack, back in 2007.
It happened when a school-teens quarrel took a big form as a white boy was beaten up by six black kids. Protests and rallies went wild on the streets as the Jena six students were convicted in charges of a attempted second degree murder, which appeared unjust to people.
On the other hand, many supported the decision.
- Harassment of Muslim American soldier(April, 2010)
A US military specialist, Zachari Klawonn, shares his story of being racially discriminated on the grounds of his religion, Islam.
His story uncovers the shameful truth that we live in a world where it won’t matter if you put your life at stake to keep them safe. They simply won’t stop calling you names and won’t leave a single chance to mistreat you, just because you belong to a religion, which they don’t find worth respecting.
God has gifted the homo sapiens, an exceptional trait, known as the intellect. Those who involve themselves, in judging someone on the basis of something you just can’t earn on your own, show a huge disrespect to His gift.
If you cannot respect another being, neither your education, nor your principles deserve any recognition. All you earn is respect. Learn to give it, as you get it.
